Blog Entry #5
MOOCs? MOOCs, or Massive, Open Online Courses, have been characterized from both ends of the spectrum, from the ultimate means of bringing higher education to the masses to the beginning of the end of higher education.
You are in a unique position to judge this model, because you are both a current user of educational services while also being on the verge of delivering service to students.
First… Pick any course from one of the demonstrated providers, CourseSites, Udacity or EdX. Sign up for it and give it a 30-45 minute evaluation. What can you tell me about the design of the course? How is the course assessed? How is content presented? Could you learn the stated objective of the course in this format? Please utilize screenshots or a screencast (whichever will help make your point).
Second… So, would this work for your intended age group and content? Why or why not?
This is longer… I’d expect 400-500 words here.

Blog #4: YOU be the integrator!
YOU be the integrator!
Take these three powerful tools, Google Docs, Google SpreadSheets and Google Presentations and create a lesson idea using two of the three together in the lesson.
Important details to include:
1.) Target Students
a. Grade level
b. Subject area
c. Unit/content
2.) Which tools are you using? Why?
3.) How are you using them?
I am not looking for perfection here, but some thought on how you might quick-integrate these tools. Be detailed enough to hit 400-500 works.
ALSO MAKE UP A MOCKUP of the use of the tools and share!

Blog #3: Presentation Technology and You as a Student?
Your own experiences as a student drive how you will performance (for better or worse) in your own classroom.
Imagine, for the moment, the two or three BEST professors/teachers you have had that used technology to enhance presentations and discussions and the WORSE professors/teachers you have had that used technology to try to enhance presentations.
What strategies worked? What was common of those individuals, both better and worse?
Your options for responding:
